Job Description Summary
The Senior Director, Data Analytics leads data strategy and delivery for the Japan & South Korea Operating Unit. The role owns the data and analytics portfolio and demand governance, builds AI, machine learning, and data science capability, drives advanced analytics and modeling, and partners across the Coca-Cola system to deliver measurable business value.
The role leads a team spanning data engineering, data science, data governance and operations, and data product management — delivering local data and analytics products (e.g., vending pricing models, local data pipelines) while rolling out and driving adoption of global data and analytics tools (e.g., Fuelight, OU360, MPM). As JKOU scales AI-enabled decision-making across its growth model, this role builds the data foundation and analytical capability that turn data into decision advantage.
Responsibilities include

Own the OU data and analytics strategy, roadmap, and portfolio, aligned with JKOU business priorities and the global data agenda.

Lead demand governance and prioritization for data and analytics investments based on business value and feasibility.

Build and develop AI, ML, and data science capability within the OU, growing both talent and reusable analytical assets.

Drive advanced analytics and modeling that directly inform commercial, marketing, vending, and supply chain decisions.

Lead delivery of local data products (e.g., vending pricing model, local data pipeline) and adoption of global data tools (e.g., Fuelight, OU360, MPM).

Own the OU data platform architecture and engineering roadmap in partnership with global data teams.

Establish data governance, quality, privacy, and responsible AI standards across the OU, embedded in platforms and processes.

Lead bottler relations and alignment on data sharing and operationalization, building the system data backbone.

Provide people leadership and capability development across the Data & Analytics team.

Serve as a senior advisor to OU leadership on data strategy, AI opportunities, and analytics-driven performance.

Candidate Profile
A senior data and analytics leader with proven experience building data organizations, delivering AI/ML capability at scale, and partnering with commercial leadership to convert analytics into business results. Combines technical depth with executive presence and system-level stakeholder skills.
Experience & Qualifications

12+ years of experience in data, analytics, or AI leadership roles within complex, matrixed organizations.

Proven track record building data platforms, analytics portfolios, and data science teams.

Deep expertise in modern data architecture, ML/AI applications, and data governance.

Experience partnering with commercial functions to deliver measurable business outcomes from analytics.

Strong stakeholder leadership across business, technology, and external partners.

Business-level English required; Japanese proficiency strongly preferred.
