Director, Finance (FP&A), Advanced Hydration

The Director, Finance (FP&A) -Advanced Hydration provides finance leadership and decision support for the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Advanced Hydration business within Operations. Reporting into the Senior Director II, Operations Finance, this role leads core FP&A routines—including reporting, performance management, annual business planning (ABP), and rolling estimate / forecasting—while improving speed, insight, and execution through standardization, automation, and responsible use of GenAI-enabled tools. The role partners across NAOU Finance, Advanced Hydration, and broader Operations teams to ensure aligned assumptions, clear performance narratives, disciplined financial governance, and strong decision support for business leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Finance lead for Advanced Hydration FP&A reporting and performance routines across NAOU
- Drives ABP and rolling estimate cadence for Advanced Hydration, including assumptions, templates, governance, and leadership readouts
- Provides financial leadership and decision support connected to Advanced Hydration performance, productivity, investment choices, and operating priorities
- Improves processes and decision support through analytics, automation, and GenAI-enabled applications
- NAOU lead for integrating Advanced Hydration into standard reporting, management routines, and ad hoc.
- Advanced Hydration reporting & insights: Own recurring reporting for Advanced Hydration performance, including scorecards, dashboards, and executive readouts with clear drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Annual Business Planning (ABP): Lead end-to-end ABP routines for Advanced Hydration, including calendar, guidance, assumptions, consolidation, reviews, and leadership-ready materials.
- Rolling estimate / forecasting: Drive monthly rolling estimate and forecast processes for Advanced Hydration; ensure disciplined variance analysis and forward-looking risk / opportunity management.
- Performance management: Establish and run routines to track performance versus plan and prior year, identify root causes, and drive accountability with business partners.
- Financial modeling & decision support: Develop and maintain models that connect Advanced Hydration operational and commercial drivers to financial outcomes and support tradeoff decisions with business leaders.
- Productivity & initiative support: Identify productivity opportunities, quantify benefits, track initiative pipelines, and provide financial support to Advanced Hydration and Operations leaders for execution.
- Cross-functional partnership: Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to ensure Advanced Hydration financial assumptions, investment decisions, and performance narratives are aligned and actionable.
- GenAI-enabled process improvement: Identify, pilot, and scale GenAI use cases that improve forecast accuracy, reporting speed, narrative generation, and analysis workflows while maintaining appropriate controls and data stewardship.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Accurate, timely, and decision-ready Advanced Hydration reporting and performance narratives
- High-quality ABP and rolling estimate submissions, including on-time delivery, aligned assumptions, and clear variance drivers
- Strong financial governance and disciplined performance management routines
- Improved cycle times and reduced manual effort through automation and GenAI-enabled workflows
- Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder satisfaction across NAOU Advanced Hydration, Operations, and Finance stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience, including FP&A, operations finance, commercial finance, supply chain finance, or related experience required
- Experience leading a large scale team, people leadership experience required
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and driver-based modeling required
- Solid understanding of NAOU financials and how Advanced Hydration and Operations decisions flow through multiple P&Ls, including cost, margin, productivity, and investment outcomes required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to translate complex business drivers into clear recommendations
- Working knowledge of internal control principles and financial governance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Query
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI or similar BI tools for reporting and insights
- Familiarity with enterprise planning and reporting tools preferred
- Comfort leveraging GenAI tools responsibly to improve workflows and outputs
- Operates with a business-partner mindset, not just a reporting mindset
