KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Validate BOM Setup Created by Commercialization

  • Audit of BOM
  • Product Kit breakdown
  • Size up the batch for manufacture
  • Visualization of packaging configuration
     

Set-up QA Inspection Plan for Ingredients, Packaging, Intermediate and Finished Products

  • Understand the nature of the ingredients, intermediates and finished product characteristics.
  • Create the packaging specification, company and facility profile for new packaging materials and suppliers.

Material Master Validation

  • Ensure the correctness of the data provided to the various tab of the master data setup

Finished Product Label Approval

  • Check with importing country SRA for any specific regulatory requirement on labelling.
  • Provide information to Operation for creating the label template, verify the correctness of the template created and give the final approval for use.

Others

  • Lead and/or participate in Formula and Regulatory projects in CPS Asia.
  • Review all related regulatory requirements to Quality, Food Safety, Halal and ensure compliance including mitigation of corrective actions required.
  • Lead/participate in Halal Assurance System (where applicable) including communication with BU/Region and Halal authority bodies, coordinate with purchasers and suppliers, and ensure Halal certificates and supporting documents are valid at all times.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and digital enablement initiatives within Formula and Regulatory activities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize and automate routine processes (e.g. master data validation, reporting, tracking and compliance documentation).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, automated reports or workflows (e.g. using Power BI, Power Automate or similar tools) to improve data visibility

QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field of study.
  • Open to candidates with 1–4 years of relevant experience in quality, formulation, regulatory, regulatory affair or related technical functions within food, beverage, FMCG or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong proficiency or hands-on experience in data analysis, digital tools and automation is highly preferred.
  • Experience or strong working knowledge of SAP (e.g. material master, BOM, formula or related modules) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge on formula set-up and interpretation.
  • The job requires accuracy, discipline, consistency, and pro-activity in all duties to deliver on time.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (oral and written).
  • Microsoft software tools proficiency (Excel, MS Word, MS Project and Power Point)
