The Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability function in the Caucasus and Central Asia region (PACS CCAR) function works to mitigate regulatory risks, propel corporate image, and oversee development and implementation of sustainability and social responsibility projects in the region of 8 countries, with three of them being priority markets (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan). CCAR includes one of the fastest growing  markets globally.

What You Will Do for Us

Successful intern will support the CCAR PACS Team with the following projects:

  • Coordination of implementation and reporting of key CCAR sustainability initiatives in the areas of packaging waste management, women and youth economic empowerment, and water replenishment;
  • Coordination of content creation for corporate social media accounts;
  • Support in reporting and other administrative processes of the PACS function;
  • Support of corporate PR and brand PR activities.

You will work in an international environment, connecting with a networked team of colleagues and partners based in different countries. You will have a chance to take part in implementation of iconic “only Coke can do” projects that inspire and excite our consumers. You will contribute to making a difference in CCAR markets by helping to bring our global sustainability vision to life locally.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Graduate student (enrolled in Masters’ program) or recent graduate (Bachelors’ or Master’s degree) in a related field of studies (including, but not limited to international relations, journalism, social/political studies, diplomacy, or similar)
  • Fluent in English, Russian and either Kazakh or Uzbek language;
  • Some experience in working with local or international businesses or NGOs
  • Volunteering or internship experience in similar areas would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with individuals of different cultural backgrounds.
  • Computer literate in standard software and applications: Microsoft Office, Social Media applications
  • Applicants should possess good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, speaking and writing skills. Soft skills such as adaptability, creative thinking, teamwork, positivity, time management would be helpful.

Internship duration:

We offer a 1-year internship with paid full-time employment.
