Senior Frontline Manager Sparking Soft Drinks (SSDs)

Position Overview
The Frontline Marketing Senior Manager – Austria is responsible for analyzing market to understand brand and business insights and identify problems to solve for the brand/category. This intelligence needs to translate into localizing central brand strategies and activation plans for the Austrian market. This role ensures strong local relevance of our marketing activities, leads selected innovation processes, manages agencies and networks, and champions marketing transformation. It requires deep consumer insight knowledge and the ability to translate data into actions that build brand power and drive value.
What You'll Do for Us:
- Localized Brand Strategy & Activation
Own and develop localized brand strategy for Austria, including the local Annual Business Plan and input into Long-Range Planning.
Manage and execute brand campaigns, innovations, national promotions, packaging development, experiential marketing, and events, ensuring all activities reflect Austrian consumer preferences while staying aligned with Coca-Cola’s central marketing agenda. - Consumer Understanding & Analytics
Partner with the Human Insights and Strategy team to interpret consumer and market data and build deep understanding of Austrian market development.
Track and analyze brand and project performance, translating KPIs into actionable recommendations for reports and presentations (e.g., monthly performance reviews, market analyses, AAR). - Agency & Network Management
Manage national creative, media and experiential agencies.
Contract marketing assets in close collaboration with the EPICS team, ensuring effective adaptation for Austria. - Developing and communicating written briefs for use by agencies and directing their work activities.
- Budget Management
Develop and oversee budgets and timelines for brand programs to ensure flawless delivery, measurable ROI, and adherence to deadlines and financial guidelines. - Cross-functional Leadership
Lead and align cross-functional teams on projects, providing direction and coaching to achieve KPIs.
Leading alignment on the brand initiatives with key functions and bottler marketing. - Support to Marketing Director
Assist the Director, Marketing Austria, with cross-functional initiatives and special projects aligned with Austrian brand priorities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in brand management.
- Language Skills: Native-level (Austrian) German required; fluent English essential for corporate communication; additional language skills (Czech/Slovak, Slovenian, Croation). are a plus given Austria’s regional business context.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and generating actionable insights.
- Business and commercial acumen with ability to identify when campaigns require local adaptation.
- Excellent project management skills with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability to changing environments; ability to plan for different scenarios and correct courses quickly.
- Knowledge of procedures and media used to drive increased volume and brand equity.
- Ability to manage and inspire agency performance.
- Making consumers and their needs the primary focus of the business.
- Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creativity, strategic alignment and consumer impact..
- Innovation experience a plus (from concept to market launch).
