Mixing and Blending Technician (2nd Shift, 2p-10:30p)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mixing and Blending Technician to join our production team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for the preparation, mixing, and blending of raw materials to produce high-quality products in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a good eye for detail, and an ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Measure, weigh, and transport raw ingredients to the mixing and blending stations according to formulas and product specifications.
- Mixing Operations: Operate, monitor, and adjust mixing and blending equipment to ensure proper processing and product consistency.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks to ensure finished blends meet all quality standards, and promptly report issues or inconsistencies to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all plant safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of mixing and blending machinery to ensure peak operation efficiency.
- Documentation: Record all mixing and blending activities, including batch numbers, weights, and other production data, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and the quality assurance team to meet production goals and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machinery or production processes a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or food-processing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read and interpret production orders, formulas, and measurement equipment.
- Basic math, computer, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and operating machinery in a production setting.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 2nd shift position (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM).
- Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands.

Pay Range:
$47,000 – $58,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
