75G Lead, Production Technician (1st Shift, 5a-1:30p)

As the Production Team Lead, you will take a hands-on leadership role in driving the efficiency, quality, and output of the production line. This position will focus on optimizing performance, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. Reporting to the production manager, you will supervise daily operations and lead your team to meet key objectives while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Production Oversight: Monitor the production process and conduct periodic checks to ensure adherence to schedules, performance goals, and standard operating procedures. 
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all production meets the company's exacting quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as needed to maintain product integrity. 
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing, engaged workforce. Conduct evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support employee growth. 
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage line efficiencies, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and reduce downtime to meet or exceed production targets. 
  • Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Ensure all equipment is in top working condition and that the workplace is safe. Promptly address any mechanical or safety issues to minimize disruptions. 
  • Changeover Management: Supervise production line changeovers and verify readiness for resumed operations with minimal delays and errors. 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Inventory, to streamline operations and share feedback for ongoing improvement. 

Education and Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and budgets effectively. 
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems and equipment. 

Technical Skills 

  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and database applications. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills related to production processes. 
  • Forklift certification is a plus 
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. 
  • Commitment to continuous learning, sustainability, and innovation. 

Pay Range:
$60,091 – $73,445

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
