Manager, Global Mobility Technical

The Manager, Global Mobility Technical role will support the Global Mobility Technical function in managing all technical aspects of an individual global assignment. This role has primary responsibility for the due diligence process for mobile assignments. In addition, the key responsibilities for this position include the preparation and/or review of related cost projections, assignee illustrations and LOU’s for each assignment to ensure quality, consistency and compliance with the Global Mobility policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of the KPMG LinkE record and associated set-up.

  • Preparation and documentation of the end-to-end mobility assignment due diligence for each associate covering all aspects, including working closely with internal and external expertise as appropriate to address all areas.

  • Consulting with the Mobility Consulting team on the due diligence to ensure appropriate assignment set-up in line the business strategy.

  • Produce and understanding of the mobility assignment cost projection, including incorporation of any tax implications identified from the due diligence process to ensure taxes are properly embedded in the cost planning.

  • Produce comparative analysis between mobility packages as required.

  • Liaising with the business for approval on costing and proceeding with the assignment.

  • Support the annual Cost Projection Refresh process.

  • Act as a liaison with the local payroll and Mobility Tax Accounting teams, ensuring the tax implications of international assignments are properly reflected in each assignee’s ongoing payroll processing and reporting.

  • Prepare and issue the Letter of Understanding to the business and manager for onward presentation to the associate.

Basic Requirements:

  • University/Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Tax Degree preferred)

  • Full English Proficiency

  • Related Work Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in Global Mobility operations

    • 3+ years of experience in the expatriate tax field preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and highly detail oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong team player

  • Ability to work in a virtual diverse working environment, fully utilizing technology and communication tools

  • Flexibility to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to self-manage to deadlines
