Manager, Brand Manager – Hydration

Position Overview: 

  • The role of this position is to lead brand marketing for Sports & Water Brand in JSK OU One Hydration Team. The position is responsible for managing sports & water brands and to demonstrate the next level of marketing capability towards other marketing-related teams.  
  • Key responsibilities include: brand business diagnosis (consumer centric, as well as channels, competition, packages, customers and trends), strategy development, new product development and marketing calendar development, including coordination and execution of key marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal/external business stakeholders (Bottling partners and agencies).  
  • This role is also responsible for coordinating and leading large and complex cross functional teams across the Coca-Cola Japan & Korea OU.  

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities: 

What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Develop long-term and annual growth strategy and business plan of sport & water brands – Assessment of business growth opportunities leveraging consumer insights, initiative creation, and business case development.
  • Develop future product pipelines to contribute to revenue growth and profit by closely working with related functions, such as GDI, Technical, Procurement, H&I, Design, Finance, Legal and Commercialization. Assess consumer opportunities that are currently untapped by leveraging consumer research, competitive landscape and in-market performance.
  • Execute planned annual business plan.  
  • Develop commercial plans by closely working with related functions, such as franchise operations, channel team and Bottling partners.  
  • Leading alignment on the brand initiatives with key functions and bottler marketing, sales and technical teams.
  •  Providing on-going business analysis to identify and prioritize brand-building or gap filling opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Global Hydration community to ensure local market dynamics are well reflected in global strategy development, and synergize with other markets for bigger enterprise-wide contribution with scale, efficiency and expertise.

  • University/ Bachelors degree
