Advanced Production Scheduling Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Production Scheduling Specialist to manage our manufacturing processes through the use of the Siemens Opcenter APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) software. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of production scheduling and capacity planning. They will also have a high level of technical expertise, including familiarity with Siemens Opcenter APS and other relevant scheduling and planning systems.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Create and manage the production schedule using Siemens Opcenter APS software, ensuring the maximization of efficiency and the meeting of production targets.
  • Analyze and interpret complex production data, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions as necessary to realize operational objectives.
  • Continually review the production process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes where necessary.
  • Coordinate and communicate with production and management teams to ensure accurate scheduling information is relayed and understood.
  • Resolve any conflicts that arise from schedule changes, ensuring minimal disruption to the manufacturing process.
  • Liaise with the production team to understand material requirements and ensure the schedule can be met.
  • Detect and handle any capacity issues in production, optimizing resources for overall operational efficiency.
  • Conduct scenario planning and simulations for business continuity planning, backups, etc., for global and regional systems.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a production scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive experience with Siemens Opcenter APS or equivalent APS software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as familiarity with SQL and database systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Intermediate level business English and Japanese language proficiency

  • 材料の必要量を把握するために生産チームと連携し、スケジュールの実現可能性を確保
  • 生産における能力問題を検出・対応し、リソースを最適化して業務効率を向上
  • グローバルおよび地域システムにおける事業継続計画、バックアップ等のシナリオプランニングおよびシミュレーションを実施

応募資格:

  • 製造業における生産スケジューリング業務の経験が2~3年ある方
  • 優れた分析力と問題解決能力、細部への注意力
  • あらゆるレベルの関係者と円滑に連携できる優れたコミュニケーション能力
  • 複数の業務を同時にこなし、優先順位をつけて効率的に時間管理できる能力
  • Siemens Opcenter APSまたは同等のAPSソフトウェアの豊富な使用経験があれば望ましい
  • Microsoft Office製品の操作に習熟し、SQLやデータベースシステムに関する知識があると尚好
  • ビジネス、サプライチェーンマネジメント、工学、または関連分野の学士号を有する方が望ましい
  • 中級レベルのビジネス英語運用能力/日本語運用能力を有すること

  • 基本的に工場に出勤していただきます。(週2日まで在宅も併用可)

  • JR京都駅~最寄駅 …電車で30分程
  • 最寄駅から送迎タクシー手配あり
