Senior Director, PAC Sustainability Eurasia Middle East

Position Overview:

As the Senior Director PAC Sustainability for the Eurasia & Middle East Operating Unit (EME OU), you will be an indispensable member of the EME Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) leadership team, reporting directly to the EME VP of PACS. 

In this role, you will lead the implementation of The Coca-Cola Company's long-term sustainability goals in areas such as Water, Packaging Sustainability, and Economic Empowerment across all markets within the EME OU. Your responsibilities will include engaging with key stakeholders such as communities, academics, NGOs, customers, suppliers as a responsible business partner committed to sustainable growth.  

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EME OU’s PACS Sustainability strategy roadmap in partnership with bottling partners, internal and external stakeholders. 

    • Define and steward the OU PACS sustainability strategy, commitments, initiatives, and prioritization to support the OU growth agenda, ensuring accelerated progress in water, packaging, and economic empowerment. 

    • Influence and align with senior-level stakeholders internally and externally, including OU leadership team (OULT), Global PACS, TI&SC (Technical, Innovation and Supply Chain) leadership, bottling partners, category leaders, and industry stakeholders. 

    • Lead sustainability-related policy and advocacy efforts in collaboration with OU and local Public Policy teams, focusing on favorable legislation for Circular Economy, Packaging Waste Management, Climate Resilience, Water Stewardship, and Economic Inclusion for women and youth. 

    • Govern Sustainability data/reporting for EME, ensuring accuracy and coordination with assurance partners. 

    • Oversee The Coca-Cola Foundation’s (TCCF) funding and grants process for the OU, including approval, implementation, and monitoring in alignment with TCCF strategic impact areas and OU social impact strategy. 

    • Strategically connect with external and internal networks and stakeholders to drive performance, benchmarking, forward-looking strategies, and organizational capability transformation. 

    • Develop and maintain performance management capabilities, partnering with the Sustainability organization, Global Sustainability Network, and cross-functional teams for ongoing performance management. 

    • Shape PACS sustainability investment plans, analyzing costs, infrastructure developments, and strategic partnerships in close collaboration with TI&SC OU and franchise system leadership teams. 

    • Drive external engagement and benchmarking, ensuring leadership presence in key sustainability platforms

    ​​Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, and advanced degree in a relevant disciple (e.g. public affairs, communications, public policy and/or sustainability) would be preferred. 

Related Work Experience:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in a matrix organization with multiple internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, fostering stakeholder networks, and strengthening relationships.
