Senior Director II, Retail Channel Strategy and Amplification

Summary
This role is accountable for building the short mid- and long-term strategic vision of the NAOU (including Canada) retail channels. This includes how our brands and programs come to life by channel to deliver on our long-term growth ambition. All strategies are based on insights and tailored by channel to ensure we have the right offering to interrupt shoppers and drive basket conversion. In addition, this lead will also look after NAOU Merchandising Excellence. This includes planning, strategy, innovation and deployment to support the NAOU plan to interrupt shoppers and drive basket incidence.
This role leads a team of 8.
- 4 Sr Directors of Channel Strategy and 4 Sr Managers of Merchandising Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the face and the voice of the retail channel strategy / commercial plan to Franchise and Sales teams for innovation and base businesses plan deployment and amplification.
- Commercialize, adapt and amplify the strategy and commercial plans through routines with Franchise teams and bottlers.
- Lead the NAOU channel strategy development in support of the 2035 growth ambition.
- Lead the development, alignment and stewardship of the GOAT calendar amplification for identified channels.
- Lead the development of the execute, sell hunt priorities to best enable the plan.
- Lead channel specific acceleration plans and routines to deliver on the plan.
- Lead the system communication and deployment of base business acceleration plans by channel in partnership with Commercial Strategy and Operations team to ensure key initiatives deliverables are met.
- Lead the team that is the once source of truth for the Franchise and customer teams on all deployed channel strategy resources including merchandising, subsides, allocations and sharing of best practices.
- Continually work on aligning resources to the work that matters most and making hard choices in alignment with the system leads.
- Lead the development of the merchandising element development and deployment and scaling to deliver on stealable in store engagement and retailtainment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and relevant work experience.
10+ years in the CPG industry and retail customer experience (manufacturer, retailer, or distributor).
Related Work Experience:
- The candidate will have strong end-to-end knowledge of our customers’ needs as well as our bottling operations and experience partnering with bottlers in co-building joint strategies and plan.

Pay Range:
$211,000 – $238,400
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
50
