Food Safety Coordinator

As our Food Safety Coordinator, you will act as the primary Quality SME providing support to Coca-Cola North America Supply Chain

Function Related Activities and Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and close system gaps to federal, state, and Company requirements.
  • Collaborate and support quality in Co-packers and Company owned plants.  Assure that manufacturing facilities meet company requirements.  
  • Manage Quality Manual update communications to the plants and ensure understanding.
  • Corrective Actions initiated as required based on incidents, audits, or consumer complaint data.
  • Facilitate initial investigation prior to an IMCR event and ensure CAPA is submitted accordingly.
  • Review and analyze Region Metrics for input to Region Management
  • Participate in problem solving teams/activities to identify and mitigate Quality risks in plants.
  • Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree Required, Technical degree preferred.

Related Work Experience

  • 5 Years Food and/or Beverage experience in manufacturing field in Quality assurance and F Food safety. 
  • Experience in the areas of Juice, Dairy, Aseptic, hot fill, and water manufacturing Food Safety, FSMA, ISO, and HACCP experience required
  • Design review for processing, water treatment and manufacturing systems a plus

Functional Skills

  • Data analysis and analytics
  • Troubleshooting and RCA/ CAPA
  • Regulatory knowledge and its interpretation

Pay Range:
$80,200 – $90,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
