Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview:

The Marketing Technology (MarTech) team specializes in developing innovative solutions across marketing platform. We are a company with one of the most recognizable portfolios of brands in the world and our marketing practices have been setting the industry standards for decades.  We build integrations for our identity system, promo engine and various other marketing experiences.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role combines innovation and speed to ensure that the team is on track to meet the objectives of our product launches. You will play a critical role in guiding the development of high-quality software solutions, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within scope.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles

  • Participate in, and adhere to, professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies such as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Source Code Management

  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the development process.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Architects, and Global Teams.

  • Maintain a high level of proficiency with Computer Science/Software Engineering knowledge and contribute to the technical skills growth of other team members

  • Develop industry and product technical expertise

Technical Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of front-end JavaScript and modern frameworks (React.js, Angular.js, Backbone.js etc.), CSS (including experience with pre-compilers: SASS, LESS, etc.)

  • Expert in back-end JavaScript (Node.js)

  • Experience building scalable applications with AWS services and serverless architecture (Lambda, Kinesis, Dynamo).

  • Experience building RESTful microservices and large systems in services-oriented architectures

  • Solid understanding of security concepts. Expert in building secure web applications and RESTful services.

  • Solid understanding of programming paradigms (object-oriented, functional, event-driven etc.) and their applications.

  • Experience working with CICD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins or similar.

  • Experience with GIT code repositories

  • Experience with build tools: Gradle, Maven, Ant, Make, Rake, Grunt, Gulp, Ninja, Blaze/Bazel, Pants or others

  • Experience with configuration management and containerization technologies: Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Salt

  • Experience with ORMs and building applications backed by relational, Key/Value and document databases

  • Experience in Agile Development practices, Scrum, Test and Behavior Driven Development, Domain Driven Design

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years as a professional software developer

  • At least 1.5 years as a developer on AWS platform, building scalable and serverless technologies

  • AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.

  • Nice to have, familiarity with Azure AAD (B2C), OAuth, Adobe CRM (AJO, AEP, AEM).
