Senior Manager, Sports Marketing

Our North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Marketing Teams are responsible for marketing and growing a portfolio of brands – ensuring that each brand connects deeply with local consumers in ways that scale globally.    

The Senior Manager, Sports Marketing is responsible for the partnership management and activation for National Sports Assets. The primary focus is to ensure develop of an asset strategy and activation plans that are consistent with supporting brand strategies, understanding the consumer and driving brand preference and consumption. This includes building annual asset activation plans, customer programming, experiential, in-venue activation consistent with Look of Success, local market activation, communicating with local Sales/Ops teams, etc. 

What You will Do for Us 

  • Manage partnerships, manage contractual obligations, and total budget for partnerships 

  • Interpret brand business plans to develop impactful brand integration with assets 

  • Grow our brands through partnerships and activation including research, analysis, recommendations for programming, customer programming and influencing and gaining alignment with all cross functional partners to achieve success 

  • Manage and leverage all asset inventory 

  • Lead agency partner relationships 

  • Act as subject matter expert to ensure all POS, packaging, coupons etc. protect the company’s rights, trademarks and investment while serving the best interest of our customers and assets 

  • Develops program charters and manages project budgets  

  • Completes program post analysis  

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required 

  • 5-7 or more years of sports marketing experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry

  • Knowledge of brand strategy and application across channel, including local marketing 

  • Budget responsibility and management 

  • Understands the key drivers of brand health across entire portfolio 

  • Knowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation 

  • Proven record of accomplishment of achieving sustainable results

Pay Range:
$126,000 – $147,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
